We made these journals in A5 and a smaller A6 size. Size A5 notebooks come in 4 different colors/patterns, all typical of Northern Thai Hmong hill-tribe ethnic textiles. Traditionally, Hmong women produced complex textiles as a sign of clan identity and cultural values. There are numerous patterns, designed with traditionally geometric, abstract forms that the Hmong pass on as a shared visual language.
